CAEN POLO PLAGE V

Thanks to all the players that came and brought the best mood and best play, Jasmin for the hosting, Luc-sur-Mer, Caen Bike Polo, Sœurs for the cakes, Anna for the food, Robin for fixing the toilets, Babeth for the jams. Benji broke his foot, which made all of us really sad, get well soon. Max came as a free agent and finished first with his (amazing) teamates. Anaïs subbed for Benji on the sunday with James and Zsofia. A golden goal lasted mode than 15 minutes for the great pleasure of organizers ;)

Fifth edition of Caen Polo Plage. The TNMT is set in Luc-sur-Mer, with the sea a couple hundreds meter away. All the players can sleep at Villa Louis, a beautiful place with an amazing vibe and a sea view. We all spend friday evening by the terrasse, inside the villa or on the boardwalk, getting to know each other, seeing new and old faces, having drinks. We used poloperator to manage the tournament and it went really good. 3 steps for the games: Pool, Swiss, Single Elim.

• On Saturday, breakfast at 8:00, first game at 8:30, 2 groups of 7 teams (we tried to make 2 balanced groups), you play every team of your group. After Pool games, 2 rounds of pickups and back to the villa, we served food on the boardwalk, Robin van's lights sat the mood, somewhere between Beach Boys and Jesse Pinkman. Some players went for an evening bath, deserts were amazing.
• On sunday, breakfast at 8:30 first game at 9:00. 2 rounds of swiss to have a more accurate general rank. Lunch break, group photo while everyone is here (turns out everyone was here for the goodbye picture).
• Sunday afternoon, single elim. We finished at around 6:30 PM The balance between having a nice weekend and play your best on the court was perfect. Thank you all for comming.
